There is an area of high pressure over northern Europe, while there is an area of low pressure over western Europe. We are somewhere in between at the start of the week, with increasingly humid and unstable air becoming noticeable during the course of the day on Monday. This means that on Monday – after an often still quite sunny morning – isolated showers will develop in the afternoon or evening. Widespread rain is almost certainly not an issue. There will be little change in temperatures. On Tuesday, the residual high fog will soon clear and the sun will prevail. The afternoon spring clouds will remain mostly harmless. Towards the middle of the week, we will be under the influence of a so-called omega high, which will mostly ensure friendly weather. This omega high may well last longer. But nothing is certain.
